Applications = Used for hand and machine tapping in both thru or blind holes in a wide variety of materials. This style tap is most popular in Aluminum, Brass, Copper and Non-Ferrous Materials. Don't rule out Stainless Steels.

Applications = SPIRAL FLUTE TAPS are most commonly used in blind hole tapping/where a hole has bottom and the chip is lifted up out of the hole. This style tap is also effective to bridge openings, keyways and other interruptions in a tapped hole.
